Deanna is a registered nurse and midwife and has worked at Women’s Health Specialists since 2003.

She has experience working in several private and public hospitals across Adelaide and enjoyed a significant role managing a midwifery lead clinic at The Queen Victoria Hospital.  Deanna subsequently developed the same clinics at the Women’s & Children’s Hospital before joining the team at Women’s Health Specialists.

Deanna has maintained a keen interest in clinical midwifery, gynaecology, infertility and colposcopy. Patient care and communication are high priorities for her while providing women with a friendly and reassuring presence during their visits.

Sally has been a registered nurse and midwife for over 20 years.  She has worked in both the public and private sector with experience in recovery nursing, all areas of midwifery care (including Midwifery Group Practice) and most recently as a practice nurse/midwife in GP clinics and Obstetrician/Gynaecologists rooms (in Canberra and Adelaide).

Sally is passionate about women’s health, especially antenatal and postnatal care, cervical screening and perinatal mental health.  Having lived for two and a half years in Spain, she is also very understanding of the challenges facing women of non-English speaking backgrounds. Sally rates her greatest achievement to date as being mum to 3 beautiful girls. She enjoys travelling, exercise and is attempting to learn to play the cello.

Michelle has been a Midwife for over 15 years. For the first 14 years of her career, she worked in a busy Tertiary Hospital, developing her skills in all areas of midwifery, but with an emphasis on birthing and assessment. This culminated with a role in a low-risk Birthing Unit, finessing a wide variety of skills working in antenatal clinics, with birthing women, and immediate postnatal care which also extended to home visits.

She joined the team at Women’s Health Specialists in January 2019 and continues to thoroughly enjoy working with women and their families during their antenatal, postnatal care and gynaecological care.

You will also find Michelle continuing to work in the hospital environment as an Agency Midwife. She is also an AIPP Accredited Professional Portrait & Wedding Photographer.
